Terms of Service

These Terms cover Pro.Miami and the business pages it hosts. Use an account only if you are at least 18 and authorized to act for yourself or the business you represent. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
1. What we are
Pro.Miami provides a contractor directory, business pages, job requests, quotes and messaging. We are not a contractor and do not perform or supervise the work, employ the listed businesses, or guarantee their work or response. License lookups compare information with public records; they are not a background check, insurance verification, endorsement or guarantee of current eligibility. Any agreement for work is between the customer and contractor.
2. Verify before you hire
You are responsible for verifying any contractor you contact through the site, including their Florida license on Pro.Miami's license verifier, current insurance, scope, price, and warranty terms.
3. Communications consent
A request is saved when submitted but contractors cannot access it until you confirm its email link. Requests submitted through a business page go only to that business, not other contractors. Marketplace requests are made available to matching contractors. You authorize the resulting quotes, in-app conversations and service emails about your request. The homeowner form does not ask for a phone number. We do not provide your account email to contractors, but information you put in messages, descriptions or photos can be seen by their intended recipients.
Accepting a quote records your choice; it does not automatically book a visit or pay for work. Agree directly on scope, exclusions, price, permits, dates, payment and cancellation terms before work starts. Quotes and AI-assisted guidance may be incomplete or incorrect. Review them and obtain appropriate professional advice. Do not use this service for emergencies.
4. Contractor accounts
Contractor accounts are free: listing a business, viewing requests, sending quotes, and messaging homeowners cost nothing, and Pro.Miami takes no commission on work you win. Accounts must use a real, active Florida contractor license where one is required for the trade. We may suspend accounts for abuse, spam, or misrepresentation. If paid options are introduced, they will be optional and disclosed before any charge.
5. Acceptable use
No fake or fraudulent requests, spam, impersonation, security circumvention, unlawful use, or collection or resale of private user information. Do not upload content you lack permission to share, including other people's personal information. You retain ownership of your content and permit us to store, display and transmit it as needed to provide the features you use. Public business-page content can be viewed and indexed publicly; job conversations are not public listings. Protect sign-in links and passkeys and report suspected account misuse. We may restrict abusive accounts while preserving rights required by law.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided as available. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, accurate third-party content, a quote, or a particular job outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude implied warranties and indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses fraud or intentional misconduct, or limits mandatory consumer rights.
7. Disputes
Contact us about a service dispute at legal@pro.miami. This does not prevent you from seeking a remedy in a court with jurisdiction or contacting a regulator. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive collective remedies, or shorten statutory claim deadlines. Applicable mandatory law continues to apply.
8. Other
No agency or partnership is created between us and a listed contractor. Updates will carry a revised date; material changes require appropriate notice and consent where legally required. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest applies to the extent permitted by law.
